On New Year’s Eve last year, I drank SO much that I was sick all day. I didn’t even eat one bite of food on January 1 last year — which made Day 1 of Whole 30 easier, but it was a terrible way to start the year. I wrote about what I learned about myself and my body in this post. Back in October, I actually quit drinking — I am almost at 90 days without a sip of alcohol. I’m thinking of doing a whole post of why I quit, so tell me if you would like to read that!
I have been so productive since not drinking, it has really made me into a new person. Joe and I stayed in on New Year’s Eve, and I worked for hours. And I couldn’t be happier about it. I am so excited to finally start using my Erin Condren life planner (I posted it on Insta here, and spend January getting organized!
I started out my year by taking the Warrior Women 90 minute class at Barry’s. And HOLY shit. I take two classes back to back all the time, but this was a whole new mental challenge. It started out with a timed mile — there was no better way to start the year! And tomorrow officially begins the January Whole 30! I am so excited to debloat from the holidays, and get back into my routine! These new shoes helped too, lol.
I never posted my before and after from my fall reset that I did — nor have I ever posted a before and after pic on the Internet before. But in the spirit of new beginnings, here you go…
I will be focusing a lot on health & wellness this month — and while I am no expert, I really love sharing my stories with you all! So stay tuned for some Whole 30 updates, lots of body positivity, my first shoot in a sports bra (still so nervous about posting this), my favorite spots to eat healthy in SF, and a lot of active wear posts!
