Day 3: New York Fashion Week

Day 3 NYFW

Day 3 of New York Fashion week was a blur of sleet, wind, and standing in line in the cold. But it was so exhilarating! My favorite shows are always the ones where I get to wear the designer to the show. And this year, Saku graciously let me wear this amazing oversized fur accent shirt.

The day started off with Saku — the show was AMAZING. So many great bombers and amazing separates. We sat right next to Amir Arison from The Blacklist. He was so sweet — and was really into the fashion!

After Saku, a huge group of us left together to go to the Tracy Reece presentation. It was raining a lot by this time and the line to get into Tracy Reece did not seem to be moving. We all stood huddled up underneath our umbrellas for at least 30 minutes. The line was barely moving, and they kept letting people cut. We had a small window to get to our next show, so we had to leave before even going in. I was super bummed about this because this was one of the events I was most excited for.

We rushed to Leanne Marshall and it was GORGEUS. I had to miss her show last season, because it was the day after we left. But it was seriously amazing. The gowns were STUNNING! I’m so happy we decided to leave and make it to this show.

We decided to keep it chill that night since we had early morning meetings the next day. We went to Shake Shack for dinner and then drank some Seven Daughters in the hotel lobby with some blogger babes.

We are coming down to the last few NYFW posts (some of you are probably SO grateful, lol) — but still to come: my hotel post at the amazing Conrad New York, and my top 5 New York moments!
