Blush and Black

My favorite way to wear blush is with black. It adds a little grunge to the look and gives it some serious city vibes. This whole outfit was inspired by this blush and black bag — I have been wearing it NONSTOP!

It’s funny because whenever people ask us to describe our style, Emily has her answer right off the bat. “Minimalist with a feminine flair. If it has ruffles, bows, or scalloped edges it’s me.” Me, on the other hand… well, I’m the exact opposite of that. But my answer doesn’t sound as eloquent when trying to describe my style. I jokingly say, “black like my soul.” But that’s not 100% true. My style is trendy but comfortable, edgy but also basic. Does that even make sense? I am a jeans and tee gal through and through. I stick to this basic model and use my accessories to dress up my outfit.

With blush pink being the unofficial color for spring, I had to find a way to make it my own. Enter the leather jacket and black jeans. Mixing blush and black together was a much easier way for me to incorporate this color into my wardrobe and make it feel like ME.
