Red, white and blue are some of my favorite colors to wear in  the summer – and this outfit is what I’m packing for our getaway this  weekend.

Alright guys, this post is going to be short and sweet. We’re heading out of town tomorrow – not far – just to Tahoe – for a weekend of family time, rest, and relaxation. Whenever I head to Tahoe in the summer, I love packing some nautical inspired pieces, and this top and white jeans were the first things in my suitcase. I’ll definitely be leaving the Louboutins at home – I’m opting for gold Jack Rogers instead. <<< Much better for chasing around my two year old.

I am so excited to recharge, I can’t even say. Joe and I have not been on a real vacation since our trip to Italy last April.  Pregnancy and babies will do that to you – so this is our mini summer vacay. I planned it super last minute, but I’m hoping it will do the trick. Stay tuned on instastories and on snapchat for all the details!

While I am in Tahoe, Ashley will be across the country shooting a HUGE new campaign. I am so proud of her and our blogger BFF Sarah, of Sassy Red Lipstick. They are shooting the campaign together and I have no doubt it is going to be SO amazing. Watch our insta-stories for their adventures as well!

Both Ashley and I are working on some amazing new content for the coming month. and We cannot wait. We have amazing collaborations, some informative articles, and of course all of our favorite things!
