Christmas in July — The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!!!

Shop This Post:

It is almost that time of year again!!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts next week, and it is quite literally — Christmas in July.

Today I’m talking about all the things you need to know about the sale, what you should be looking for, and how to shop it early!!!

The best part about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that it is made up of items for next season. Normally sales consist of old items that a store is trying to get rid of — but not this one. This sale is full of brand new clothes – all at a discounted price! It is the perfect time to buy fall & winter staples.

Let’s Talk About Early Access:

Early access to the sale is open to Nordstrom debit or credit card holders ONLY, from 7/13 to 7/20. Then it opens to the public on 7/21st. If you’re not a Nordstrom cardholder, you can apply here, and if not, you have to wait until the 21st.

What’s on sale:

Designer items for the fall, boots, sneakers, coats, sweaters, makeup, home goods, accessories galore –literally a little bit of everything. For a sneak peak – head to view the catalog here.

What we’ll be buying:

  • Items that we can’t normally get on sale. Ashley always stocks up on denim, active wear and the three pack of Voluspa candles — they’re perfect to keep on hand for a last minute gift! I lean towards more classic pieces: cozy knit sweaters, boots, and fabulous outerwear. The coat selection this year is out of this world. Also we both LOVE the diptyque candles!
  • Classic designer items – coats, shoes, and dresses
  • Staples that we wear every day: Hanky Pankies, tees, denim, handbags.

So, you heard it here first! Apply for your Nordstrom card, and get shopping before everyone else does. So many of the really good items go super fast, so you definitely want to be able to shop early. Also – don’t miss it! There are amazing items in the Nordstrom sale section right now! Check them out below!
