Every fall I get SO excited to start wearing my “fall” clothes. Chunky sweaters, ripped jeans, leather booties… you get the picture. I also get SO excited to start wearing fall colored clothes, and one of my favorite colors to accessorize with in the fall is cognac. I love cognac boots, cognac coats – and this fall I am especially loving this amazing cognac leather woven purse from Patricia Nash.

I have been looking for the “perfect” cognac purse for quite some time now and I have looked high and low. I found a lot of simple options, but at this point in my life, it has to be GOOD, and it has to be different if I’m going to make the investment. When I found this purse, I immediately knew it was the one. Not only is the leather of THE highest quality – but the craftsmanship of the purse is second to none. I love when you open a brand new purse and the smell just takes you to the leather shops of Italy and that is exactly what this purse did.

So, let’s talk a bit about this purse – I ordered it from Zappos – on very short notice. I needed to wear it to a weekend tailgate where I knew I would need an awesome crossbody bag to match my trusty congac boots. I have been looking for a purse in this exact color for AGES… and thanks to Zappos’ speedy delivery, I received this Patricia Nash beauty the Thursday before the weekend I needed it. <<< Always such a relief. Then I opened the box….

Not only is the leather fantastic, but the design is just absolutely gorgeous. The first thing I thought was, “Patricia Nash gets it.” I love that it is large enough to hold everything you might need, but the size isn’t overwhelming at all. I also love that it is SO different. None of my friends have anything like it. I was asked at least five  times where I got it because no one had ever seen anything like it.

In addition to being incredibly unique, this purse is also incredibly versatile. You can wear this bag 3 different ways, and I have highlighted all of them below. I love that I can wear it as a “handbag” for a dressier look, or I can wear it as a crossbody when I am in mom mode, or need my hands accessible.

Really this is THE perfect fall bag, I am absolutely in love with it, and I am wondering which Patricia Nash handbag is next to add to my collection?
