Cold Weather Skincare with Cetaphil

Ashley Zeal from Two Peas in a Prada has teamed up with Cetaphil to talk all about changing up your routine for cold weather skincare.

I don’t know about you guys, but my skin has been SO dry. With the temperatures getting colder, plus all of the smoke in the air here in the Bay Area, my skin has really taken a beating. I am so excited to be teaming up with Cetaphil to share my two cold weather skincare must-haves with you all.

I have been using Cetaphil as long as I can remember; with my sensitive skin, it has always been a brand I can rely on to not break me out and calm down any flare-ups or rashes I may be experiencing. Cetaphil has been around for 70 years, and has won 110 awards! It’s not only dermatologist recommended, but it’s a household name, it’s reliable, it’s accessible, and it’s affordable!

Cetaphil has recently expanded their line and added Hyaluronic Acid to its moisturizers. My best friend, Rachael, who works at a skin care spa is always telling me I need to be using Hyaluronic Acid, or HA, as she calls it, every single day. I’m so excited to work this into my cold weather skincare routine and start reaping all the benefits HA has to offer. Including providing instant hydration, and locking in moisture to prevent any dryness. I have gotten to the point where I keep slathering on coconut oil, only to have my skin soak it all up almost instantly.

Well, not anymore. Enter Cetaphil’s latest products. The first one I am going to talk about is the daily hydrating lotion. This lightweight, oil-free moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid provides instant hydration to skin and locks in moisture to protect skin from dryness. It absorbs quickly for immediate and intense hydration. The best part is, it’s non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. I have been using this every single morning and have already noticed a huge difference in my skin.

The second product I use at night. The Rich Hydrating Night Cream is a game changer. This rich, nourishing night cream helps retain skin’s natural moisture, protecting it from dryness throughout the night while gently soothing skin. The cream re-hydrates and gently nourishes skin overnight and it strengthens skin’s natural moisture barrier to protect from dryness. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid – a powerful moisturizing agent and an essential component of skin, known for its ability to retain up to 1000x its weight in water – and a Pro-Vitamin Complex and Olive Extract. This product is also non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic and fragrance-free. It feels so great on your skin, and I love going to sleep knowing I am going to wake up with amazing, glowing skin!

  1. I had no idea that Cetaphil had added hyaluronic acid to their products now! I love the wonders HA can do for my skin, so I’ll have to revisit their line again! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  2. Cetaphil has really expanded their lines since I first started using them. Their products are fantastic on my skin!
