How is everyone this week?

Well – this is going to be a little bit of a life update and a little bit of a fashion post – all rolled into one. You know how we do it here. 🙂

If you followed along on stories this past weekend, you know that we had an elective sonogram to see our baby girl. The backstory on the sonogram is that I had a doctor’s appointment last Monday. Mind you, my doctor is out of town for the next month on vacation. At this appointment the stand in midwife told me that she “thought” Baby Caroline was breech. For those of you who don’t have kids, or don’t know pregnancy lingo, that means she thought (just by looking at my belly) that the baby was head up.

Now this is not a bad thing. At all. The only thing is that the further into pregnancy you go with a breech baby, the higher your chances get of having a C-Section. Which again, is not a bad thing. It is just not what I am used to, and not what I had planned in my head. ***What’s that saying? We make plans, and God laughs. <<< Yeah. 🙂

That being said, none of my kids have ever been breech. Or if they were,  no doctor in their right mind would have ever told me. Especially at 28 weeks, because SO much can change. I’m still fired up about this, if you can’t tell.

Moving on…

I decided I needed to know for myself.

Because of how the kicks have felt I had a strong feeling the midwife was wrong. But a sonogram would be needed to confirm this. So I made an elective sonogram appointment. I go here in town. I love the fact that when I have had questions on sizing, or positioning, or growth, etc, in all 3 pregnancies, I have been able to turn to them for help.

Sunday morning, sure enough, we got to see our sweet baby girl. She’s growing perfectly, she already has hair, and she is (as I suspected) head down. Thank the lord.

So that is the life update.

Now onto what I have been wearing in my 28th week of pregnancy. Boyfriend Blazers. I don’t know what it is, but I just feel very wide during pregnancy. In order to hide this, I have been turning to kimonos and oversized Boyfriend Blazers layered over tanks and tees. I think it’s a super cute look, if I do say so myself! The Boyfriend Blazer I’m wearing in  this post is one of my favorites, and for sizing reference I am wearing a size small! You can also shop all my favorites below. If you missed it over the weekend, I wore another one of my favorites (I’ll post it to stories again today) and you can check out Ashley’s take on this look >>> here.  <<< I have that blazer is light blue and I LOVE IT!!!
