Okay, so you know I don’t really LOVE to show my house. But in an effort to be real — I am just going to do it. Thank you guys for all of your support about my couch (that someone once told me to never show on the internet). Ever since then, I have been super self-conscious and don’t really show much. I have never laughed so hard as I did at your responses to that story. Okay, enough about me. Let’s get down to business! Here’s the thing…. I’m as basic as they come. Especially when it comes to fall shit. Give me pumpkin spice everything. I am OBSESSED. So when I walk into a place like Target, or Trader Joes, I need to practice some serious self-restraint. So this year – I focused on subtle fall-decor: white textured pieces, minimal pumpkins, yellows and golds and using some things I already had.
For the living room, I already had the tray, the mug, the bowl so I just added this amazing pumpkin candle, some candy corn, and white mini pumpkins from Trader Joe’s! It was such a quick little adjustment but made such a difference in the room. Especially the smell of that candle — OMG!
Since my couch is so dark, I love to use all white accents on it! And I love mixing textures. I recently picked up these square pillows – such a good price, only $24! I also really love this lumbar pillow too!
The dining room was my favorite part to decorate! I fell in love with this yellow and white arrangement, and centered the entire table around those colors! This table runner and napkins were right next to it and I was so happy with how things were shaping up so quickly — that’s the joy of Target! I already had the hurricane, so I picked up some of this white and gold pumpkin vase filler to put in it and I love the way it turned out! It’s on sale right now, too! Next, I added these gold pumpkins, I wanted to feature different heights at the center of the table, and I loved these — also, only $10!
I had the plates and the chargers already. I love using gold and white because there’s truly nothing it doesn’t match. Both were super cheap and I love them! I picked up these napkin rings to finish off the place setting! They are only $2- so why not!
You can kind of see in the background of these photos, that I have a plain gold vase and basket. I have had the vase forever and I got these adorable pumpkin stems to put in there! The basket was the best purchase ever, as I store all my throw blankets in there, would also be super cute for towels!
