So this post has been a long time coming. But before I get into it; I need to make a disclaimer. I in no way shape or form am a fitness or diet expert. I don’t feel 100% comfortable giving advice to anyone about this because I don’t have the qualifications to do so. I am simply sharing my story and what has worked for me. These pictures were taken almost exactly six months apart, and the outfit is by the same exact brand. Keep reading to find out how a body fat scan and counting macros changed my life and my body.
I’m surprisingly not high maintenance. I know that sounds like a stretch — but truly, I’m not. There are a few things I am a little crazy about: my hate for dairy, politics, and my workout pants. I have tried them all, and today I finally narrowed down my top five brands of workout pants.

Those of you who have been around for a while probably recognize the face of my friend, Jess Forseth. She is the Bay Area Lead Instructor at Flywheel – which I have also talked about before. I thought it might be cool to interview her so you guys can learn more about what it’s like to have a full-time career in fitness. And be sure to try Flywheel for yourself — it’s addicting. Use code “FLYTWOPEAS” for your first class free! Keep reading to find out why on earth I would be friends with someone who has never had a burrito. Crazy, right?
First of all, thank you SO much for all the love on Wednesday’s post. You guys are amazing, and I am so grateful that I have so many amazing people to share my journey with. The support means more than you know!!! Finally, I wanted to chat with you guys a little bit about one of the tests I mentioned in that post: the Everlywell Food Sensitivity Test. This is in no way sponsored or endorsed by them, I just feel so passionately about it that I had to share! Keep reading for a discount code at the end of this post.

Today, I decided to share an old post. I first wrote this last February after I finished my second Whole 30 (I’ve done four). This year, things are a little bit different since I started counting my macros (more on this really soon). But it’s really hard for me to hit my numbers while strictly Whole30 so I am going to modify it just a little bit (still no gluten, dairy, sugar, or alcohol). But I will be adding in things like oatmeal, rice, and quinoa so I can hit my carbs for the day. I’ve updated this post with some links to my favorite Whole 30 products (RX bars, I would die without you).
