The time has finally come — my fall trip to NYC! I am sharing everything I am packing for New York. My parents have never been, and so I am joining them on the middle portion of their trip. I also have an appointment at Saks Bridal to try on this outfit I have my eye on for my wedding. Fingers crossed. This week has been INSANE, so I did a little try on of everything I am bringing — mostly to force me to actually start packing for New York; so thanks for holding me accountable!
I’m not going to lie, this post was a total accident. I found Joe’s Jason Markk premium shoe cleaner kit laying around in our bathroom as I was packing my stuff up for New York. I hadn’t been wearing my Gucci sneakers that much because they were dirty and I hated the way they looked. I’d asked multiple people at different Gucci stores, and department stores how to clean them, and honestly, they were clueless. One guy told me to buy the Coach leather cleaner, k. The other ones just kind of mumbled and said they didn’t know — how did the employees not know how to clean Gucci sneakers. Not helpful at all. So I decided to test out this kit.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered two pairs of Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots — I got them on sale, 25% off. And you’re in luck — they are on sale right now, too! Use code: FALLEVENT for 25% off sitewide. Year after year, I find myself replacing the cheap over the knee boots I bought the year before. More often than not, they will last two-three years, but it’s still such a waste of money in my opinion. I do the same thing with t-shirts — like, why? Emily was my inspiration — she has had hers for YEARS and they still look brand new. I picked up both a flat version, the Lowland, and a heeled version, the Tieland.

Ashley and I are both huge fans of women supporting women. We are girls’ girls to the core, and there’s nothing we love more than featuring women doing amazing things on the blog. Anytime we hear of a woman run business, we have to hear more – and then we have to tell you about it.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Justice for Abercrombie. Abercrombie & Fitch is back, people. And if you don’t believe me, just head to this post, or this one, or this one.
