Joe got me this gorgeous Chateau Parka from J Crew for Christmas! It is never too early to start thinking about Valentine’s Day. It is one of our favorite holidays because it celebrates our favorite thing in the entire world: love! This is our first post of our “Valentine’s Day Gift Guide” series. We are so excited to share all of this with you because we can not tell you how many people come to us for advice about what to buy their girlfriend, wife, mom, sister, etc.

Sometimes (okay, usually all the time)Valentine’s Day is a tricky holiday. There is so much pressure, you can’t get a reservation, you don’t have a valentine, you forgot to pick up a gift, you bought chocolates but your girl is on a diet… I mean so many things can go wrong. Trust me, I know. I once received a Valentine’s Day card to my college house with no writing on the inside….. thanks? That is why we decided to take initiative and do all of the hard work for you. This year, Joe and I are going against tradition and crashing my parents’ romantic trip to Hawaii. So our Valentine’s Day will involve a double date with my mom and dad, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I hope they feel the same, LOL.

I received this coat as a Christmas gift (thanks Joe, xo), but can’t help but think it would be the most perfect Valentine’s Day gift as well. Or the perfect piece to buy for yourself to wear on that special date! The color is the most beautiful bright shade of red. The gold and fur accents really make this coat stand out!
