We are officially in New York for Fashion Week! Nothing excites me quite like a new fall trend. One of the major trends we are seeing all over New York during Fashion Week is VELVET! Even though it’s 90 degrees here, we are still rocking it! Pain is beauty, right?

My love for velvet stems from my obsession with Stevie Nicks — who I previously wrote about here. I have always loved her vibes and respect her willingness to not follow any rules, or give a f*ck about what people think or say about her. I need to work on that more.

I am just thrilled to see velvet trending again! I already stocked up on lots of pieces — too bad it is 90 degrees here. But I’m being brave and rocking it anyways!
