Fall is right around the corner, and I don’t know what it is, but every fall I start to dress a little bit more conservatively than I do during the summer.

The jean shorts and linen shirts of summer get tucked away, and I make room for sophisticated knits, gorgeous coats, and an abundance of chic party dresses. That is how I found this amazing little Black Halo Two Piece set.

Joe and I were invited to a birthday dinner for one of our nearest and dearest friends, and I literally felt as if I had nothing to wear. In dresses, I am two sizes bigger than I usually am. It’s mainly because my chest is so large from breastfeeding… but regardless… it makes it hard to shop my own closet right now. I decided to treat myself to something special, and something that would make me feel like myself again. I was also looking for something with clean simple lines, so it could be easily altered after I’m done losing my baby weight.

I ordered about 7 items from Revolve and Shopbop and although I fell in love with many of them, this one was above and beyond the winner. The fabric is amazing, I love that it is a two piece set, and I am convinced that the fit and flare bottom is universally flattering.

The second I put it on, it made me feel like the best version of myself. My husband was also a HUGE fan. I wore it to the birthday with a longline white jacket over it… and it was a super fun late summer look. I can wear it in the fall with pumps and a cardigan, and in  the winter I can wear it with OTK boots and a black blazer <<< how gorgeous would that be??

All in all this Black Halo Two Piece is a sure winner – and it comes in white and red as well! It is the perfect addition for you wardrobe this fall.
