As many of you know, we are moving and in the process of building our home. To me, that doesn’t mean we should just let our current home get dated in the process.
This spring I decided that our master bedroom needed a little refresh, and thanks to the amazing rugs from The Home Depot – updating our master has never been easier.
Rugs are a super simple way to update any space. We have a cool, neutral color palette in our master bedroom, so I knew I wanted something along those lines. I found the most perfect grey one from The Home Depot (shown in the photo above). I love that it gives the area in front of the mirror in our bedroom a little character. I also like that it covers a very high traffic area in our room. Our boys literally wrestle on it every single night, and I like that it gives them a little extra padding too. Not to mention, it is just really beautiful.
I love that you can use rugs to update any space in an extremely cost effective way, and that is exactly what this rug did for our master. It gives our room a totally different, and more pulled together look. It will definitely be coming with us to the next house, but I think I will be repurposing it in the guest bedroom next time!
