As a curvy girl myself, I know how hard it is to find affordable swimsuits. Especially ones that are flattering, well today I am sharing with you a brand that does both: Aerie. This is nothing new on the blog, but I thought I would dedicate an entire post to it now that I have quite a few of their suits that have lasted quite a while and the quality has really held up! In the past I would spend upwards of $100 on a swimsuit that made me feel confident, but I finally found a brand that is both affordable and flattering. Their styles are young and modern, and I always know they will fit! This is not sponsored in any way, but I just wanted to share some of my favorite styles that work for my body type. I am trying to pre-pack for my honeymoon, and putting all of my Aerie swimsuits into packing cubes inspired this post!

My body type is big bust, big booty, short waisted and a little boxy around the torso. My stomach is my problem area, and the thing that makes me the most self conscious. I am wearing a size large in this black one piece, and that is always the size I order when ordering at Aerie. What I love the most about Aerie is that they use women of all different sizes as their models so you can really see what it looks like on a real body. For me, visualization is everything, and when I see an item of clothing on a model with a similar body as me, I have a way better idea of how it’s going to look. This saves me a ton of time in returns, and helps me to narrow down which one will work for me!
Their site is super thoughtfully organized and broken down by style and coverage. For me, I love a one piece with a high cut on the leg. I definitely have a bigger butt and not small thighs, so the lower cut suits kind of dig in onto my hips and make me look bigger. In terms of bikinis I always order the high cut bottom and either the longline scoop or bandeau top! I also linked the coverups that I am packing with me below!
