In light of what is going on in the world, after the death of George Floyd, Ashley and I took a couple days to talk with one another to figure out how we could be better. First and foremost we came to the conclusion  that we would start with ourselves. We took a couple of  days to read everything we could. It wasn't fun, it wasn't quick, and at the end of it - we had to admit some gruesome truths about ourselves. We both were negligent about our own privilege. How I Take Care Of Myself – With My Garmin

Although the last few months in quarantine have been anything but normal, Ashley and I have both done what we can to keep moving, keep exercising, and keep being active... all in an effort to take care of ourselves. Ashley hops on the treadmill every morning - that is her sanity. I try to get as many steps as I can in every day. Whether it is running around after my kids, cleaning the house, or walking with Charlie - that is my sanity. Whatever it takes, we're always moving.  If I'm being honest, I owe a lot of my motivation to my Garmin. I think it has kept me so much healthier during quarantine. In fact, I got 20k steps yesterday! That was a personal best! So here we go... how I take care of myself with my Garmin. Read More
