Today, I am so excited to share with you everything I packed for Kona. We have been here for a few days now, and are having the best, most relaxing time. It honestly feels so good to have skipped out on NYFW and just enjoyed a nice relaxing week with Joe and my family. I got a bunch of new items in before the trip so I wanted to share them here with you today.
It is no secret that we travel a lot with our kids. We took William everywhere when he was a baby - you can read about some of our adventureshere, here and here. Then this February we had David - and we still headed out onmultiple trips. As amazing as traveling with your kids is, it is tiring, and often times after taking our family vacations, we feel as if we needed a whole other vacation to de-stress from our vacation.
While I don't necessarily believe in resolutions, I wanted to make some kind of list for 2018. This list was inspired by the life-changing helicopter ride I took in Chicago with Chicago Helicopter Experience. I hate the idea of cutting things out for New Year's -- those things never last. But what I do believe in is adding a list of bad ass things you hope to accomplish in the year. Keep reading for my 2018 bucket list!
As most of you know, I just returned from an EPIC girls trip to Chicago. I am so excited to be sharing my Chicago Travel Guide with you today. Chicago is one of my very favorite cities, and it was so fun to show my girlfriends around town. I went with my photographer, Shannon, Ariana Lauren and Katie and Samantha from Lola & Ivy. I broke our entire trip down by day. Keep reading to see what we did, what I wore.
As many of you know, Ashley and I live 4 hours apart. She lives in San Francisco and I live in Reno. Although we'd love to get to see each other every day, it just isn't possible. In order to keep up with each other, and the blog, we often schedule "blog weekends" where all we do is shoot, content plan, and concentrate on - the blog - and the blog only. That being said, we've realized over the years that the best way to do this is to give ourselves a home base without any distractions, and the Intercontinental San Franciscowas our perfect place to do just that.
