Nothing about me can believe that my baby boy in these photos is about to be three. (sniff)

William turns three on Sunday – and I am having serious mom panic attacks. I seriously do not know where the time goes, or how – in these photos – it looks like I have a teenager. It’s insanity.

I love so many things about this child. I truly don’t know where to begin. 🙂 He makes my heart so incredibly happy. He is exhausting, as all three-nagers can be, but give me one of those adorable smiles, or one of his amazing William hugs – and I forget about all of that.

It’s funny, as your kids get older, you start to recognize (for better or for worse) little traits of your own that they seem to adopt. One of the hilarious and more superficial things that William has gotten from me, is his love of all things cozy – blankets, rugs, clothes, anything really. He’s obsessed with loungewear – or “comfies” as we like to call them in our house. The second he gets home, he throws off his school clothes, puts them in the laundry, and says,”Momma – I wanna wear my tomfies.” <<< We have problems pronouncing Cs over here. 🙂

Anyhow, over the weekend, we were heading back from Easter brunch, discussing what we were going to do for the rest of the day. And as all almost-three-year olds do, he had some serious opinions about the rest of his day. “I wanna do (go) home, put on my tomfies (comfies), lay on da touch (couch) with a soff blanket- and none of the scratchy pillows – and den (then) I wanna do to da part (park).”  <<< I was unaware our couch pillows were “scratchy”, but, I have to admit… I fell even more in love with him.

Anyhow, we are big loungewear fans at our house, and I figure it’s probably time to share some of our favorites. The sweatshirt and joggers I’m wearing in this post are both under $50 and are both SO incredibly cozy. I am wearing a size M in both, as I am in my third trimester. HELLO 30 weeks! For the boys, I have been LOVING  Roller Rabbit sets for quite some time now – and I know you will too! Their designs are the cutest – just be warned – you have to size up. William is about to be 3 and wears a size 4, and David just turned one and wears a size 2. They are currently running their Friends and Family Sale – use the code: FandF for 30% off!

I’ve linked some of my other favorite loungewear “comfies” below – both for kids and adults!

FYI – I’ve been a little nostalgic lately, so on Thursday I’ll be throwing it back and reposting something I wrote before William was about to turn one – it is an oldie but a goodie. So stay tuned for that, and be sure to follow along for all our family birthday festivities this weekend!
