Hello Everyone! As you all know, we are in Austin together this week. We have some very exciting news that we have been waiting to share, and we are so thrilled that we finally can!
At the beginning of the year – we set some lofty goals for ourselves. The first goal was a page view goal. We wanted to get more eyes hitting our site. We came up with a business plan of how to achieve this goal, and sure enough, we hit our initial goal in January. Then, we doubled it in February.
Our second goal was to sign with a management company. If you’ve been following along with us on Instagram, you know that we signed with Estate Five Management back in March. For a little transparency – huge parts of the blogging world that you don’t see are: negotiating contracts, compiling analytics on campaign performance, keeping our financial books, and endless amounts of emails with our blog partners. We were spending so much time on these things that we found ourselves unable to create the content for you that we wanted to. So… now our management company handles all of these things for us, and we are so happy we can spend time on what we love most. Creating content for you.
That being said, the next goal we had this year was to partner with a brand we love and launch a collaboration in a national department store. As many of you know from our Facebook group we are SO thrilled to say that we are partnering with one of our favorite brands, Gibson, to bring you a couple of very “Ashley” and very “Emily” pieces this month. The pieces will be available at Nordstrom at the end of June and we cannot wait to bring you along every step of the way. It is SO amazing and we know you will love it.
We are launching this collection – on June 27th – with an amazing group of bl
oggers. All the pieces go together, they are SO easy to mix and match, and leading up to the launch we will be sharing pieces on stories, sharing photos exclusively in our Facebook Group and answering any questions you may have about the collection.
We want to thank you for supporting us every step of the way so far and we cannot wait for you to see these items! In the coming weeks we will be showing you the pieces, how we style them, what the materials are, and why we love them so much. When launch day comes, we are so excited for you to be able to purchase a piece or two, and show us how much you love them!
When we started the blog, our goal was to have a business we could work together on. We didn’t know what it would look like, but we knew with enough hard work and with the goal of always making women feel their best – we would get there. We are still working toward this goal every single day, and we hope this collaboration is a HUGE part of that. 🙂
Putting it out to the universe… eventually we would love to have a full line and a full collection one day. We hope you’ll join us in making this a possibility, and we can’t wait for you to have these pieces in your hands! Thank you for being here for this.
