As many of you know – these Stuart Weitzman OTK boots from Nordstrom are my absolute favorite shoes for the fall and winter.
I was gifted them last year by my mom for the holidays, and with the exception of July and August – I pretty much never take them off. I wear them with dresses, with skirts, and as I have paired them here – with everyday jeans. The number one question I always get about them is, “Are they worth the investment?” In my opinion, 100% yes. You will wear these Stuart Weitzman OTK boots almost every day, for every year, for the rest of your life. Let’s think about that price per use. 🙂 What’s more, they are quite possibly THE most comfortable shoe I own, and not to mention functional as well. I love that the heel isn’t too high. I can wear them to work, or chasing William around the playground. I truly think if you’re going to make a footwear investment, these are the shoes to do it with.
The second question I always get asked about them is, “Won’t they make my legs look stumpy?” OH MY GOODNESS… NO! These boots are the most slimming shoe you’ll own in your closet. Black has a slimming and elongating effect, so when your leg is wrapped in it – voila – slimmed and elongated legs.
But listen, I totally get it if you’re not ready to take the Stuart Weitzman plunge. You should… but I get the trepidation. They’re expensive. In that case I have linked my top 5 black OTK boots that are really great dupes for my pair. Some of these are SO good – you would hardly even know!
