Finding the perfect LBD is never easy.
Finding the perfect LBD at 32 weeks pregnant is quite literally next to impossible. But the second I set eyes on this ruffle sleeve stunner – from Badgley Mischka via Zappos – I knew I had to have it. It was the perfect LBD – the unicorn of dresses – and I knew I needed it in my closet. The second I put on this dress I felt like I was having a pregnant Audrey Hepburn or Jackie O moment. Even at 32 weeks pregnant, this dress looked SO classic and elegant. And that, my friends, is no easy task.
First things first, this dress is NOT maternity. I just sized up. I fully plan on having it taken in as soon as I am done with this pregnancy – but it was just too perfect to pass up. Like I said, I had to have it.
I love it for spring weddings and charity events… but what I really love about it is that you really can wear it in every single season. For spring, I’ll wear it with closed toed shoes and a black clutch as you see in the photos. In the summer, I’ll wear it with strappy sandals and a bright pair of earrings with a matching clutch. For fall and winter I’ll pair it with booties, tights and a faux fur stole. You just can’t go wrong.
