White After Labor Day – I hate that stupid rule

Emily Farren Wieczorek of Two Peas in a Prada talks about how much she hates the "white after Labor Day" rule and why you should too!

Shop The Post:

One of the questions I get ALL the time is… “Can I still wear white after Labor Day?”

I am pretty sure we touched on this last year, but as always, the answer is YES… YES…YES you can!┬áIn fact, white jeans are one of my closet staples YEAR round. You can wear them as I have here, with dressy sandals and an on trend bell sleeve shirt, or you can wear them in the colder months under OTK boots with a chunky sweater.

ALSO – SO exciting, I thought my FAVORITE white distressed jeans were totally sold out everywhere, but after some searching, I found a retailer that has them in stock, get this… IN EVERY SIZE. Just click on the photo above, and you can purchase the exact ones I am wearing in this post for just $68. Also – a sizing note – this brand runs a little bit big, so be sure to size down!

Really I just want to make sure that everyone knows how antiquated the “white after Labor Day” rule is… so I had to write about it here!
