Ashley’s Makeup Musts

Em & I are traveling to Los Angeles today for the Simply Stylist conference! Since we will be traveling – I thought a beauty post would be fun and easy to share with you all even though we’re on the road. There are some major changes coming here on the blog soon — and we have really exciting news that we promise to share with you as soon as we can! But, stay tuned, we promise it will be worth it!

Daylight Savings has me all excited for spring. There is just something about that extra hour of sunlight that seems to enhance my spirits! I am busting out my floral scents, brighter lips and different makeup products. My skin changes a lot with the seasons so my go-to products are always changing. Beauty is something we don’t blog about often, but we should. We do feature our beauty products a lot on Snapchat (so be sure you’re following us @Ashleyzeal & @Efarren). I wanted to just take a little break from the clothes for a bit and talk about some of the amazing products I’ve been using.
I can’t tell you how many people ask me for makeup recommendations, so I figured I should just do a little post on the products I have been loving recently. Some are old favorites, some are new, but these are the products I have been reaching for the most.
Clockwise from top left:
GlamGlow Cleanser — I’m obsessed with the mask and the cleanser is just as amazing. Gets rid of that dull winter skin with just one use!
Soleil Tan de Chanel — An old favorite, it’s so easy, it’s natural looking and it gives you that extra glow.
Jo Malone Peony & Blush Candle — A Christmas gift from Em, the current smell in my apartment. Obsessed. I have the perfume too!
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector — I don’t know about you but my allergies have been killing me. Thank god for this product because my eyes have not been looking their best.
Hourglass Powder in Dim Light — the only powder I use.
Guerlain Mascara — this was a surprising find. I am pretty loyal to drugstore mascara, but my mom gave me this and I like it a lot.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone — this is my favorite liquid highlight. I use this when I use my contour sticks (as opposed to the Shadow and Light palette).
Kat Von D Lipstick in Magick — the best every day color.
Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Body Oil — the first blog post I ever wrote ( I don’t think I ever published it, but I should because it’s hilarious) included my obsession with this scent. Nothing has changed. Holy grail of fragrance for me.
Tarte Slenderizer Brush — don’t contour without this. It’s life changing.
Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Eye-Brightening Base — I can’t say enough about this stuff — I always talk about it on Snapchat. It’s so great & so affordable.
Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer — I was on the hunt for the perfect primer. I didn’t want to buy the full price version of this until I tried it. Update: I like this one more!
DiorSnow BB Creme — the only thing I wore on my face in Hawaii. I love how it also lightens dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Cuyana Bag — classic, timeless, I always have it in my purse.
